I made this miniature replica of my sewing machine as part of a display I'm working on for the Pasadena Central Library.  It will be primarily a display of my shoes but I'm including a miniature scene to illustrate, simply, how I do what I do.
I'm enjoying the challenge and diversion of making something other than shoes.

As I wrote of a previous shoe -
Perfection inspires but imperfection endears.

There are several minor flaws in this shoe. It's kind of a shame since it has taken so long to make a new shoe after Grand Rapids.

But I am more forgiving of imperfection of late, not just in my work but in life itself.
